ECA Summer Arts Enrichment Camp: Hawaiian Summer Keiki Camp and Concert

Monday - Friday - July 21-25, 2014 Ages 7-11 Maximum 30 participants $200 per week 9:00am-3:00pm In this brand new ECA camp, students will explore Hawaiian culture through activities such as Hawaiian language, song, music, ukulele, hula dancing, games and cultural arts. Teaching artists include five-time Grammy award-winner Keoki Kahumoku, ukulele artist Kalei Gamiao*, and Edmonds' own Kumu Hula Krista Espiritu of Hula O Lehualani (Hula School). Participants will also have the chance to join teaching artists in their public performance at ECA on the evening of Friday, July 25th, showcasing the music and cultural performance pieces they have learned throughout their camp week.

* Brittni Paiva was originally scheduled to perform with Keoki Kahumoku at ECA on July 25, 2014. For personal reasons she is unable to appear, and will be replaced in the performance and summer camp program by Kalei Gamiao.
