Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winners Nathan Aweau and Jeff Peterson collaborated on a CD for release in Japan. Jeff and Nathan enjoyed the experience so much that they decided to take the show on tour and release the CD in the U.S. Along with some of Jeff’s originals, they took some hula standards and gave them a little jazz twist. The result is a fresh look at some of Hawai’i’s most popular hula songs. Many of you will know Nathan from his appearances at the Barclay over the years as part of the group, HAPA. His newest solo album 'Io won 3 major awards at the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (Hawaii's Grammy) including Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
